THE TSL INDUSTRY TODAY AND TOMORROW

We invite you to participate in a two-day conference dedicated to the most important challenges and real-world solutions for transport, forwarding, and logistics companies.

This event is designed for business owners, fleet managers, accountants, and anyone who daily grapples with rising costs, legal changes, and market pressures.

During the first day of the fair, we will focus on cost optimization and business security. Experts will demonstrate, among other things, how to reduce insurance and fuel expenses, effectively manage fuel cards, finance TSL operations in difficult times, and deal with the consequences of cargo theft. We will also address current issues related to the legalization of non-EU drivers, modern fleet management, and the real impact of electromobility on heavy transport.

The day will conclude with a transport debate on the cooperation between carriers and business partners in times of crisis.

The second day of the event will focus on the future and practical preparation of companies for the upcoming changes. We will discuss the risks and benefits of using freight exchanges, truck rental, the use of AI to improve fleet efficiency, and cybersecurity in TSL. Participants will also learn how to properly calculate driver time, prepare their company for ITD inspections, recover German tolls, and what legal changes await the industry in 2026-2027.

The event will conclude with a debate on the future of road transport and realistic scenarios for companies by 2030.

The conference is not only about knowledge, but also about networking, sharing experiences, and specific tools that can be implemented in your company immediately after the event.

Join us and discover how to effectively run a transport company today—and prepare it for tomorrow.

Transport operators in 2026: legislation, tachographs, inspections and costs

The year 2026 does not give carriers the comfort of postponing decisions until later. Legal changes, rising operating costs, greater control pressure and new obligations for buses and international fleets mean that what counts today is not general knowledge, but specifics: what needs to be implemented, what needs to be ensured and where companies most often make mistakes. From 1 July 2026, the obligation to use tachographs and the rules on driving and rest times will also apply to some vehicles over 2.5 tonnes in international goods transport and cabotage. At the same time, companies operating 2.5-3.5 tonne vehicles in international transport must already have a Community licence.

This event has been created for transport company owners, fleet managers, dispatchers, and those responsible for compliance, accounting and operations development. Instead of broad debates about ‘the future of the industry’, we focus on practical answers: how to prepare your company for change, how to reduce the risk of penalties, how to organise your documentation and how to use technology not only to ‘see your fleet’, but to actually manage it better.

During the conference, TSL market experts, transport law practitioners and new technology specialists will show how to get through 2026 without costly mistakes. Participants will gain knowledge that can be immediately transferred to their companies: from tachographs and working time, through inspections and fines, to road tolls, formal obligations and technologies supporting transport supervision. This direction is particularly relevant today because road tolls for heavy vehicles in the EU must be differentiated according to CO₂ emissions, and from 2026, the cost of air pollution for heavy vehicles will also be included in the toll systems.

If you run a transport company, manage a fleet or are responsible for regulatory compliance, this event is simply not to be missed. It offers three hours of specific, up-to-date and practical knowledge about tachographs, drivers' working hours, inspections, costs and technologies that really help to organise transport.

Come and get answers that you can implement right away — before the market and regulations do it for you.

12:30 - 15:30

BLOCK I | Buses and fleets in a new light: tachographs, 561, DDD and readiness for July 2026

The most important change for many carriers is yet to come, but preparations must begin earlier. In this section, we will show you how to prepare your company in practice for the new obligations regarding 2.5–3.5 t vehicles in international transport and cabotage.

Topics covered:

  • tachographs in buses from 1 July 2026 — who is affected and where companies mistakenly assume that ‘it will not apply to them’
  • driving time, breaks and rest periods after buses are covered by Regulation 561/2006
  • remote and orderly circulation of DDD data and readiness for inspection
  • Community licence, documents in the vehicle and entrepreneur's responsibility
  • what to implement in the company as early as the second quarter of 2026 so as not to operate in emergency mode

BLOCK II | Transport company under control: working hours, fines, CO₂ charges, law and taxes

The second block focuses on what hurts transport companies the most on a daily basis: costs, settlements, the risk of inspections and interpretative uncertainty. This segment is for those who want to know not only what is changing, but above all what this means for their company.

Topics covered:

  • drivers' working time and the most common errors detected during inspections
  • documents, procedures and areas that are worth organising before an ITD and PIP inspection
  • fines, managerial responsibility and the cost of organisational inaction
  • road tolls, cost pressure related to CO₂ emissions and the impact of regulations on transport profitability
  • taxes and formal and legal risks that carriers should keep under constant supervision in 2026

Workshop 1 | Tachograph in a bus from the inside: from device selection to operational readiness

This will not be a lecture on regulations, but a practical guide to implementation. Participants will see what the process of selecting, installing, commissioning and preparing a company to work with tachographs in light and heavy vehicles looks like.

Workshop 2 | Vision telematics and AI in transport: less risk, greater control, better decisions

Modern telematics is no longer an add-on, but a tool for reducing costs, improving safety and protecting the company against operational losses. This workshop will show you how to use data, images and automation to better manage transport.

Digital transformation of the TSL sector

The conference ‘Digital Transformation of the TSL Sector’ will focus on key technological changes that are redefining the functioning of transport, freight forwarding and logistics. The event programme combines expert presentations with a moderated debate, creating a unique space for the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as in-depth reflection on the directions of digitalisation in the TSL sector in technological, organisational and regulatory terms.

The first part of the conference will focus on the presentation of practical experiences and current trends related to the automation of transport and logistics processes, the use of artificial intelligence in vehicle fleet management and the application of advanced analytical tools, such as digital twins and predictive systems supporting decision-making. An important element of this part will also be a discussion of cybersecurity, data protection and the consequences of the implementation of new European regulations, including the NIS-2 Directive, for the functioning of companies in the TSL sector.

The event will culminate in a panel discussion on the technological transformation of the TSL industry, in which experts will discuss how to effectively combine innovation and operational efficiency with the requirements of security, digital resilience and responsible risk management. The panel will create a space for an inspiring debate on the challenges and directions of development of modern, safe and competitive transport.
